The H-F Lacrosse Program was founded in 2006 by students Michael Thompson (06), Peter Thompson (09) and Clark Halliday (09) with school sponsorship by Director of Curriculum, Dean Auriemma and History Teacher Jon Elfner. The program has received enthusiastic support from the High School Administration, School Board, Foundation and Parents Sports Organization , P.O.P.S. The program became an IHSA "Emerging Sport" program in 2007. The program has 75+ players competing at the Varsity, JV and Freshman levels.
