2012 All-State & All-American Awards Announced

The IHSLA coaches voted on Sunday, May 20, 2012 for their selections to the first and second All-State teams. There were many candidates at each position, and this year's field represents one of the most talented groups ever in Illinois high school lacrosse history.
First Team All-State Selections:
Attack:
AJ Fish – Grayslake North
Tim O’Connor – Loyola Academy
Zach Wood – Waubonsie Valley
Midfield:
Tyler Cook – Wheaton Warrenville South
Will Konstant – Lyons Township
Peter Moreno – Fenwick
Long-Stick Midfielder:
Charles Cook – Lake Forest
Defense:
Dylan Harris – Loyola Academy
Mike Schiappa – Loyola Academy
Kevin Verkler – Libertyville
Goalie:
Jack Connelly – New Trier
These first-team All-State players will also be awarded US Lacrosse All-American awards for their superior achievements.

Jack Albertini – Lyons Township
Brandon Peterson – Wheaton Warrenville South

Ethan Ulmer – Lake Forest
