Wounded Warrior Walk in St. Charles Is A Success
On Sunday, May 20th, the St. Charles High School lacrosse boys and girls sponsored their 2nd Annual 5 mile "Walk for Wounded Warriors - Face Off For A Cause" to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. They raised a total of $5415 which represents an increase of $400 over last year's efforts.
84% of the St. Charles Lacrosse Club participated in the walk with some players from the Geneva Lacrosse Club joining in. Overall they had 175 walkers!
The group had two amazing veterans speak to the players, one a former Navy Officer and the other a Private who returned from Aftghanistan in February.

The St. Charles lacrosse players are grateful to be able to thank our veterans and help aid in their recovery. Saint Charles Lacrosse is "Giving to Others who have Given so much for our Freedom".
